I have read the following a number of times: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2047822#:~:text=VMware's%20vSwitches%20do%20not%20support,not%20part.... and it seems to imply that if a vSwitch receives a BPDU on one uplink, it will allow that BPDU to 'traverse the vSwitch' to a second uplink and thereby potentially create a loop. This is assuming the two upstream physical switches are L2 interconnected. Am I reading that article correctly? Specifically it's this sentence: "If a BPDU frame is received on a vSwitch uplink, that frame is not processed for STP and traverses the vSwitch" that is an issue. Does the BPDU *really* traverse the switch from one uplink to another or is it dropped?
