Please help if any one face this issue with latest vsphere data protection 5.5.6.

Error: Failed to initiate a backup or restore for a virtual machine. Probable cause is the datastore for the virtual machine is not accessible

I would like to give u more information like, i m using vsphere 5.5 and no advanced license

As this is specific to your configuration Issue.

Check with your VDP Store access on ESXi nodes from VDP appliance. Wherein VDP failed to get the VM repository store itself.
