vSphere client 5 Server 2012 R2 display bug

Hello, I'm using vSphere client 5.0.0 Build 1300600 to a vCenter server of the same version.  I have this annoying bug where if I go onto a Windows Server 2012 R2 guest VM, I see the last screen of whatever I was doing (for example lets say its a Veeam console on a veeam purposed VM).  But as soon as I click the mouse, it changes to the Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to unlock, with the date and time.  I have to unlock the VM basically.  If the screen is locked, why is the client showing whatever the last thing that was displayed before the screen was locked?  Isn't that a security issue?

Does anyone know of a fix, or if this is fixed in a future build?  No we are not interested in upgrading to 5.5 and using the web client.  VMWare can pry 5.0 out of our cold dead hands!

Hi cypherx,

I am have noticed the exact same thing. It occurs via VI Client and Web Client.

Did you ever find anything on this?
