vSphere and Double Take

Hi,

I have upgraded my hosts to vSphere 4 and installed the latest version of Double Take and reconfigured on new VMs

When I run VRA I see an error coming up on the ESX host "there are insufficient licences to do this" when it is creating the disks and the target is the Appliance VM. I have a licence on the target and on the source VMs

Anyone have any idea? It worked under 3.5

Is the error generated by DT or VMware? What about the amount of Lics on vCenter? Are you still running 3.5 in the same environment? it could be reading old info.

I am guessing that this is a Doubletake issue rather than a VM issue (depending where you are getting the error)

I suspect Double take is interpreting these as new machines . . thus oversubscribing your licenses - you'll need to get ridf of the old records.

If this is a VM error . . .I am not sure where to start - sorry.

One day I will virtualise myself . . .

A DT rep gave me links to download the version that is meant to work with vSphere...turns out it doesn't
