HTML5 isn't cutting it. Vsphere 7 is another step worse and soon it will be mandatory for support. Time to bring back the fat client. No silly rearranging or added features needed. Take what you have and make it work before adding something new. In the 8 years since this post the web interface hasn't come close to the reliable function of the fat client. If you did that, you'd kill off some competition instead of sending customers running to it.
