Hi,
Can someone point me in the direction of the vSphere Replication System Requirments. I am building a solution and want to confirm the RAM and stroage requirments but I am unable to find them.
Many thanks
Jeremy
What you need are the resources for the replaction appliance itself (see below) and the storage capacity for the VM's you are planning to replicate. In addition to the resources you mentioned, also keep in mind that you need some bandwidth too, especially for initial replication
from http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-51/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/vsphere-replication-51-admin.pdf
It has a dual core CPU, a 10GB and a 2GB hard disk, and 4GB of RAM.

This might give some RAM guidance;
For deployments that exceed 100 virtual machines per vSphere Replication server, increase the RAM of the vSphere Replication server virtual machine from the default of 512MB to 1GB.
Here are some additional links;

- Virtual machine hardware version 7
This is correct for vSphere 5.0. As of vSphere 5.1 Replication is included with Essentials Plus or better (no SRM required, although it adds valuable features).

Thanks All,
A mix of 5.0 and 5.1 Replication answers here which have helped me with my original request.
There seems to be no recomendation on RAM in any of the documentation so i will assign 1 and test and increase if required. I will also assign 512mb of RAM as per the documentation as I will only be replicating a handfull of VM's.
Thanks for your help.
I have created a blog on my findings here (http://wp.me/p2KJCF-1J)
