vSphere Distributed Switch Upgrade from 5.1 to 5.5

Hi after upgrading to vsphere 5.5 from vsphere 5.1 and utilizing the vsphere distributed swtich, the VDS needs to be upgraded to 5.5 see a screen shot in the attached file.

Will upgrading to VDS 5.5 cause any outages or packet drops ?

Upgrading virtual distributed switch will not cause any downtime. This is a non-distractive operation, you should not observe any packet drop.

Proceed only after you have met the per-requistes. Be aware that vDS is compatible only with 5.5.hosts.

Abhilash, pre-reqs are all good, vcenter and esxi is all at 5.5, thanks for re-checking though.
