vSphere 5 How to restart syslog process

I was changing the location of the syslog directory on one of my vSphere 5 servers and got a strange error. Now the vmsyslogd process isn't running. I tried the command 'esxcli system syslog reload', but it just gives the error 'Failed to signal reload to vmsyslogd'. I also tried service.sh restart, but it didn't help either. There must be some way to restart the syslogger without rebooting the whole server!

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks! That did the trick. I figured it was just a matter of finding where the vmsyslogd file was located. I'll know where to look next time!
