vSphere 4 network usage

Hello,

Whenever opening or moving a window on one of my VM's desktop, vSphere console is using up to 65% of my 100Mbps LAN connection. I tried lowering the resolution to 800X600 and color quality to 16bit, which resulted in vSphere using "only" about 40% of the bandwidth...

is there a way to throttle network usage? microsoft terminal services consumes little to nothing bandwidth, I can use it to manage my VMs but I would prefer staying with vSphere.

My configuration:

Dell Poweredge 2900 III, 32GB RAM, 1TB RAID-5, 2X E5420 XEON

VI Console is not intended for any use other than administration, it is not optimized for bandwidth. If you concerned about your bandwidth, use RDP instead.
