vMotion

We have three vSphere 4.1 hosts, each host is confgiured with two nics for vmotion (teamed together), each nic is plugged into a different switch on our network for redundancy. Can a vMotion saturate the physical switch?

These are 1 GB NICS and and 1GB physical swicthes.

I have never seen vmotion saturate a 1 GB NIC let alone a switch -
