vMotion of a Windows Host with an iSCSI disk

Here's a hypothetical for you all,

My plan is to build out a new Windows DFS (windows file server) on my new Netapp Flexpod UCS thingy.  Our primary shared storage for our VMWare environment is on high-spin SAS disk but I'd like to also utilize some cheap SATA disk for the windows file shares by attaching an iSCSI LUN to the windows VM.

If I vMotion this windows host will I have any problems with the iSCSI disk?  Has anyone else had VM guests with iSCSI disks?  Any experience/issues/etc.?

Thanks

Brian

It has been awhile since I had a guest running the iSCSI initiator for storage but I can't recall every having any problems with vMotions.

We are running iSCSI initiators with our Cybernetics SAN and have had no issues with vMotion thus far.

Thanks Guys,

Are either of you running DRS?  Just wondering if your VMs are moving around automatically.

Thanks again

Yes, we are running DRS and have it set to fully automated.

I've used in several cases (also for guest clustering) without particular issues.
