vMotion Test can Getting Failed

Hi,

I am doing Esxi 5.0 Server certification in Compact PCI on one of our boards and while running vMotion test I am getting error like this

"

vMotion fails with the error: The migration was cancelled because the amount of changing memory for the VM was greater than the available network bandwidth, meaning the migration was not making forward progress"

Could any one help me to solve this issue

regards,

Raghavendrachari

Resolution

To resolve this issue, retry the vMotion operation when the virtual machine is not busy or when more network bandwidth is available.

Actually ,

We tried with another board having 1000mb , the vMotion test getting passed . But here the board shows only 100 MBps but it has connected to 1Gig Port.

I had changed the ethernet speed 1000Mbps but the port come down and getup with 100 Mbps.

How can we solve this issue

Share me the below inputs.

Have changed the port to Auto Negotiate

Server Details of  ESX where you have installed

on the Switch side check particular port description whether that is Auto negotiate or not
