I have been reading alot latley about how performing vMotion, DRS and HA across the WAN are a reality now if you have the right network infrastructure in place. This would be Phenomenal for DR! I know Cisco is pushing their Datacenter Interconnect capable products like the Nexus 7000 and ASR 1000 products. I'd like to hear from anyone who is currently implementing this cross datacenter\wan functionality. What does your high level network infrastructure looks like(what model products) and any specific issues\benefits\drawbacks you may have come across. I am investigating this to see if it is a viable solution for a business opportunity. Thanks and look forward to hearing any and all feedback!
