vDistributed Switch and iSCSI storage

Hi,

I am running ESXi 5.1.0 1483097 Enterprise Plus. I am setting up vDS's and have everything working except for iSCSI traffic to my Dell Equallogic array.

I have been reading on various forums that vDS does not do iSCSI traffic.

is this true, will I need to keep iSCSI traffic on a vSD standard switch.

the vDS can in fact pass iSCSI and NFS traffic, however you do need to create the vmkernel on the VDS.
