Is it possible and feasible too run vCops Foundation on another vCenter Server and point it to the one you want to monitor? We have to vCenter Servers in our environment but I want to monitor the one that is highly utilized but would like to install vCops on the vCenter environment that has least utilization. Is this a possible solution and the to environments are connected over a WAN via PTP Tunnel.
I think, there is no problem about pointing vCops to another vCenter. Just you need to make sure about network connectivity and vCenter should be accessible via network.
