vCentre5.5U3e SSL Certificates renewal

Hi all

Currently running vCentre 5.5 - 4180647 (vcentreU3e) on a Windows Server 2008R2, with 35x ESXI hosts connected.

The internal CA signed SSL certificate will expire at the end of the month and threfore I am reading KB2057340 and KB2044696 on how to renewal the certs for all modules (SSO, vcentre server, Invnetory, VUM, etc).

Do I need to disconnect all ESXi hosts from vCentre to renewal the SSL cert or is it okay to do it with ESXi hosts connected?

***When I install SSL certs on ESXi hosts I normally disconnect them from vCentre before***

Comments are much appreciated.

Please follow the steps mentioned in those KB.

No need to disconnect ESXi hosts from vCenter before replacing SSL certificate.

Most important, to avoid trouble, make sure you replace SSL certificates before it get expired.
