And one more thing...

Update manager shows my 3 hosts as unknown status but they are patched.

Also when I click on update manager when on host, it show it as patched...

Only when I want to see all my hosts it shows them as unpatched... Service is started

no errors anywhere... Hosts were scanned!

Thanks!

vCenter5 does not support the VMware Converter plugin.  You'll need to uninstall that. As for the other errors, did you upgrade VUM as well, and also update you plugin?

Yes, I have upgraded VUM on the server and also the plugin...

Where to uninstall com.Converter thing?

I uninstalled plugin, status is still the same...

I forgot to add:

vCenter Web Services service is running.

check your add/remove programs or programs and features on your client as well as the vCenter Host OS.  Remove the converter plugin if it's installed.

I have only Standalone client installed...

Can I remove those services from some config file or something?

log into your vCenter Host (using RDP) and check your programs and features.

I tried this one: http://communities.vmware.com/message/1821183

And it worked.

So now only 2 services are red Smiley Happy

And I found out why other 2 are displaying red...

They look at localhost, but I have port 81 used instead of 80...

Can I change port?

http://localhost:81/sms/health.xml

http://localhost:81/sps/health.xml

This displays XML and status green...

Edit:

C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\VirtualCenter Server\extensions\com.vmware.vim.sms\extension.xml

C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\VirtualCenter Server\extensions\com.vmware.vim.sps\extension.xml

Changed port to 81, restarted vCenter and all green.

Now just Update Manager issue remains Smiley Happy

But the weird thing is that when I scan hosts, they show fine and compliant everywhere...

After server reboot I have to scan them again, otherwise status is unknown... Like it doesn`t "remember" Smiley Happy

Also if I detach and then re-attach baseline hosts show as compliant. Now I`m confused why on reboot status change to "Unknows" from "Compliant" Smiley Sad
