vCenter question

hello,

i am having 4.1 vcenter and many esxi 4.1 in production. But I am planning to add some more servers probably 5.5 and attach with old vcenter 4.1.

Does any one see any problem with it regardless of 5.5 features will not be visible in vcenter 4.1.

any other performance or any other issue ? any suggestion... ?

In order to manage the v5.5 hosts, you need to upgrade vCenter Server (see VMware Product Interoperability Matrix)

vCenter Server 5.5 supports hosts with versions 4.x and newer. With ESXi 4.x and ESXi 5.x hosts in place, you need to be careful with e.g. setting up datastores (only VMFS3 is supported by both versions) and virtual machines (HW version/compatibility) if you want to be able to migrate the VM's between the hosts.
