vCenter & SSO simple install

Hello guys,

i have a simple install vCenter+SSO+WebClient on the same machine and i have to change the ip of the VM all these components are running to.

I would like to keep all the data (roles and rights , licenses).

Do you know a special procedure to avoid to re-install all from scratch ?

vCenter version 5.5 U2

Any help is appreciated .

Many thanks , Daniele

If you have the systems configured with hostname, just change the DNS record and flush DNS on the server. If you have configured everything with IPs, then try to re-pointing things according this KB: VMware KB: Re-pointing and re-registering VMware vCenter Server 5.1 / 5.5 and components

Indeed a made a test cloning the box 1st and used simple 192.168 network and vcenter\SSO started successfully.

The real test is the production.

Many thanks.
