vCPU on server 2003

Hi,

Anyone got some experiance increasing the CPU for server 2003 or windows xp? I've got a terminal server running server 2003 that has got 1 vCPU and I want to increase it to 2.

I've adjusted the CPU on server 2008 several times without any problems but I've heard some rumours that it's not the same walk in the park with server 2003 and XP VMs.

You can increase it but you should make sure you are running the right version of the HAl or the CPU's won't be detected.
