Hi Friends,

When create a VM, configure the portgourp of the VM to be Promiscuous mode,.

Can the VM capture the inbound network traffic for all the VMs that belong to the same portgroup?

Yes it can. Just make sure the NIC inside the VM is also set to promiscous mode, which is typically done automatically with e.g. Wireshark or tcpdump if you will be using that.
