when i scan and remediate my hosts on a lcyster level, only one host is showing under target hosts. any idea?
On which objects (cluster, or host) did you attach a baseline?

Since this thread apparently was first posted in the PowerCLI community, are you talking about the Update Manager cmdlets?
Or the update manager functionality in general (via the Web Client)?

not sure why. doesnt remediuateion at the cluster level put the hosts in maintenance mode automatically? Its not putting any of the host in maintenance mode when i try to patch
Indeed, it should put the ESXi nodes in maintenance mode.
Perhaps your cluster settings or specific VM settings don't allow this.
Can you place a host manually in maintenance mode?
Do you have to select specific options to achieve that?

I do not see any setting preventing the host to go into maintenance. DRS and HA is enable and these are my options when i try to remediate
