I've had a HP MIcroserver G8 for a few weeks and have been struggling to install ESXI 5.5 onto a USB drive. Is this supported? I've had a look around and the device seems to be. Im unsure what the SATA settings should be. HP is pretty much saying it's not the fault of the server which isn't great. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I have downloaded the HP specific version of ESXi. It boots fine of my ESXI HP Installer, installs fine but when it reboots it says there is not system disk.
