I had a failed vdp backup job and now quite a few vms needs snapshot consolidation but when i tried to consolidate them. it says unable to access file sincce its locked. Thne I tried folloing the below kb to quiesce the guest os in another snapshot then delete all but the virtual disk still points to another new vmdk. I tried powering off the vm and cnosolidate but still same error about file is locked. any ides?
