transport (vmdb) error -45: failed to connect to peer process when trying to start a VM

I just moved my windows 10 VM to a new datastore, and then re registered it. But now when i try to start it, it give the error

transport (vmdb) error -45: failed to connect to peer process.

Any ideas what to do for this?

This could be related to a number of things;

I would suggest investigating the using the information from the following links;
