storelib messages in /var/log/messages

Hey guys,

/var/log/messages is filling up with the following storelib messages:

Feb 9 09:42:46 hostname sfcb[6355]: storelib Physical Device Device ID : 0xFFFF

Feb 9 09:42:46 hostname sfcb[6355]: storelib Physical Device Device ID : 0x0

Feb 9 09:42:43 hostname sfcb[5933]: storelib Physical Device Device ID : 0x2

Feb 9 09:42:43 hostname sfcb[5933]: storelib Physical Device Device ID : 0x3

The entrys repeats every minute. I'm running ESX4 with latest patches.

After some research I think this is related to the LSI Megaraid Controller.

Update:

From the ESX3.5 U4 release notes:

Log is filled with "storelib Physical Device Device ID" messages

In some cases, providers using LSI Logic drivers (megaraid2, megaraid_sas, mptscsi) repeatedly log messages such as "... cimprovagt: storelib Physical Device Device ID" and fill up the /var/log/messages log. These messages are part of debug code and should not be logged at this location.

This release resolves this issue.
