//.ssh will be gone after reboot

Hi,

I want to login to another server with public/private key authentication

I configured it last week and it worked correctly.

I had to reboot the server for some reasons last night and then i found the //.ssh directory not exists.

Also i had some files on /opt and all of them was disappeared after reboot!!

(VMware ESXi 6.0.0)

Please help me to fix this issue.

This is a expected behavior.  ESXi runs within a RAMdisk and your changes are not persistent across reboot.  Maybe you can adding your stuff to local.sh recreating your content on every startup.

SSH is only needed for trouble shooting and not daily management.
