I am getting very slow backup performance on xp vms
they are only backing up at 400+mb/min
compared to 2008/2003 vms going at well over 1gb/min
vdr is located on a different cluster than the xp vms
what could be the problem?
Check these whether vmtools installed in xp vms and Check Speed settings on VM Network adapaters.
yes vmtools installed and nics are fine. why are they so slow?
check the ports confiduration at switch level also and make sure you have sufficient physical resources on xp machines. As per my knowledge VDR location wont impcat speed. I never find this problem with VDR/Veeam.
