resource pool share different values

  why if i set for example shares to "HIGH" on a resource pool the shares vaules is keep always "NORMAL", any clue?

Have you tried ? Changing the VM's Resource settings (VM level) for CPU and Memory from Normal to High and then back again from High to Normal ? and then look at the settings in RP ?
