  • 1.  repair datastore from recovered vmfs5

    Have a disk that deleted the vmfs partition. ive recreated it using partedutil. However its still not showing a datastore. Ideas?

    Show new partitiontable.
    Check if the datastore is detected as a snapshot.
    Show first screen of

    hexdump -C /dev/disks/device:partition | less
