Make sure you put -Delete, Remove-DeployRule -Delete

Or set it inactive by using Remove DeployRule <name> -NoActivate

get-deployrule show no deployrule. so there is no active rule but still the host is booting

Hi

Welcome to the communities.

Could you please disable it on BIOS ( pxe boot ) ?

Are the vCenter and the Auto Deploy service installed on the same machine? Or are these seperate?

Are there other hosts using Auto Deploy? If not, a reinstall of the Auto Deploy service might be best.
