reclamation storage

1- storage area 90%. I am deleting the virtual machine but the storage space is still 90% . Is storage space reduced if I make a storage vmotion and make a thin disk?

2- Also, What should I do when I delete a thin disk. so that the storage space is reduced

esxi 5.5 u2 - 3par  and we use thick disk on vms

With the ESXi, and VMFS version you are using, you may want to take a look at Using the esxcli storage vmfs unmap command to reclaim VMFS deleted blocks on thin-provisioned LUNs ...

Once space on a thin-provisioned VMFS datastore is allocated it is not reclaimed back automatically. You can use a manual UNMAP operation, as already mentioned. Or upgrade to vSphere 6.5 and VMFS 6, where UNMAP is now automatic.
