random freeze on VM after moving from ESX 3 to ESXI 4

Hi all,

I downloaded ESXI 4 to migrate a VM from esx3.

The VM is windows 2003 standard and was working well before i moved it to esxi4.

The problem now is this virtual machine freeze randomly and i have to reset it from vsphere.

The thing is i changed some hardware configuration after moving it (number of virtual processors and amount of memory).

I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling vmtools --> same problem

I'm just trying the vmconverter as i just read it in the forum.

If anyone had this problem and resolved it, i'll appreciate to know how.

Thanks all for reply.

After the converter, the vm version switched from v4 to v7, but the problem remains...

More informations:

The vm hosts a windows 2003 standard and a citrix. When the computer hangs, the esxi work well, but we can see the vm processor performances as high as it can be and it's not responding at all. Any help would be appreciated as it worked fine before...

If others informations are needed, i will answer as best as i can.

Thanks.
