r710 with pci wlan nic

currently running ESXI 6.5 on my poweredge r710. I had to change locations and no longer have ability to run eth 1-4 directly to a router with internet. I have installed a PCI nic on an available riser slot, however under networking > physical nics i only see the ethernet adapters on the web gui.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance for your time.

Ciao

What nic model did you add?
From the command line on the ESXi host (connecting via SSH) if you run this command:

esxcli network nic list

from the command output do you see the card you added? can you send me the command output?

Your subject line indicated "pci wlan nic" so I suppose you meant that the NIC is a wireless LAN device. I don't think WiFi NICs are supported within ESXi. There is simply no mechanism within ESXi to manage the WiFi settings (e.g. SSID, WiFi security, etc).
