"copy and paste" of file

Hi.

I've added the suggest (KB 1026437) two rows to the config file of my ESXi 4.1U1.
Rebooted ESXi.
Booted VM with vSphere Client.
VM has the latest VMTools installed.

The "copy and paste" of file from VM to my computer (where vSphere Client is installed) do not working anymore.

Why?

Hi,

On my esxi 4.1 260247, I have applied the KB 1026437 at first on only one VM for  testing the article......Once that the copy & paste worked good, I edited the file /etc/vmware/config .

Are you sure the your modify is correct and there aren't other wrong characters? example...blank spaces, dot....

Sure.

~ # cd etc
/etc # cd vmware
/etc/vmware # cat config
libdir = "/usr/lib/vmware"
authd.proxy.vim = "vmware-hostd:hostd-vmdb"
authd.proxy.nfc = "vmware-hostd:ha-nfc"
authd.proxy.nfcssl = "vmware-hostd:ha-nfcssl"
vmauthd.logEnabled = "FALSE"
log.vmauthdFileName = "/var/log/vmware/authd.log"
authd.fullpath = "/sbin/authd"
authd.soapServer = "TRUE"
vmauthd.server.alwaysProxy = "TRUE"
vmx.fullpath = "/bin/vmx"
isolation.tools.copy.disable = "FALSE"
isolation.tools.paste.disable = "FALSE"
/etc/vmware #

I've first try with a single VM but the "copy and paste" did not work.

Then, I've try with ESXi with the same result.
