Above is my output of qlogic driver.
my ESXi server is capable to see the storage but when i try to configure it on bios or on ESXi I cant see it.
actually i installed a esxi first and then i add a qlogic card in it so now it is able to see the storage in virtualcenter but cant see the settings in OS and even in bios.
any suggestion, how i can re install or reload the driver of qlogic.
Thanks in advance
Can be done from ssh
esxcli software vib install -d "/vmfs/volumes/datastore/offline_driver_bundle.zip"
Does "lspci" see the card?
thanks,
actually forgot to mention i am running 4.1 esxi u2.
i have tried to unload and load the driver but no success.
If the BIOS does not see it, then it is time to call the hardware vendor. Likely going to have to replace it.
as i mentioned that i have added it after the OS installation so i believe if i re install the OS then it will be able to see it.
i was thinking may be something new to learn ...
I am starting my installation
