I'm trying to use pxe to install esxi 5.1a.
I used the same syslinux(4.06) pxelinux.0 file from http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/boot/syslinux/
I copied config as http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-50/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.vmware.vsphere.install.doc_50%2FGUID-B5B947... mentioned.
but after i choose to install from the menu, a strange file named "-c" (without quote) is asked from tftp. and the installation cannot continue.
is there any solution?
I found that i have to use pxelinux in 3.x (3.86 as my choice). Please update that document to mention that.
