pxe-e32 tftp timeout

I am trying to install ESXi 5 using autodeploy.

Server taking ip address from DHCP but could not connect to TFTP and getting the following error

"pxe-e32 tftp timeout" .

I am using Solarwind TFTP server. i have checked

1.system port number which  is opened.

netstat -an

UDP

  1. 0.0.0.0:69

*:*

2. i can able to ping the TFTP server from the outside

3.windows firewall is off

4.All the system in the same subnet only ( 4.0.0.1 - 40.0.0.254)

5.when i try to telnet getting "could not connect on port number 69" then i gooled

From the forum i come to know that

"You can't use telnet to test a UDP connection - it uses TCP not UDP. "

please let me know how to solve this problem.

Regards

Maniee.

Hello
did you configure your dhcp server for tftp?
066 boot server hostname (your tftp server)

067 boot file (undionly.kpxe.vmw.hardwired)

and boot files must be downloaded from vcenter...

If all prerequest complate, tftp will work actually
