I originally migrated this server to esx4 using the upgrade manager. I wanted to test the rollback procedure. That worked fine. The server regressed to esx3.5 to esx4. Now the upgrade manager cannot migrate it back again.
is the console.vmdk still sitting in the vmfs datastore? It might be hangin up when seeing that sitting there. What kind of message do you get when trying to re-upgrade?
