problem in resize disk on centos 5.8

my hard disk is full

i need resize disk

VMware KB: Extending a logical volume in a virtual machine running Red Hat or Cent OS

when run step 12 recived this error :

The filesystem is already 12689408 blocks long.  Nothing to do!

what this problem ?

Hi,

Are you sure file system, that you are using is EXT3,

Maximum number of blocks in EXT3 file system is 2³²
