prevent autostart with vmware-vmrc.exe

If I launch a VM via vmware-vmrc.exe like this:
vmware-vmrc.exe -h 192.168.1.8 "[2tb] /win8/win8.vmx"
it starts automatically.
Is there a way to prevent the autostart ?

I just updated to vSphere5 and I have the exact opposite problem. Before it was working, but now it's not, how can I enable it again? Is this vSphere related or related to the vmrc version, which I also updated.
