physical nics is not showing up in ESXi

Hi,

we currently have the issue, that one of our physical nics is not showing up in ESXi, even though it is recognized by the system and showing up when running lspci.

Output of lspci:

0000:00:1f.6 Network controller Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection (7) I219-LM [vmnic0]
Class 0200: 8086:15bb

0000:02:00.0 Network controller Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation I210 Gigabit Network Connection [vmnic1]
Class 0200: 8086:1533

esxcli network nic list
is only showing vmnic1.

The system is running ESXi-7.0U3g-20328353.

Board: Supermicro MBD-X11SCZ-F-0

Has anyone an idea what it could be?

Regards

As always for the beginning: compatibility, firmware, and drivers. Have you checked it?

I would check and upgrade it when possible.

As your post needs moving to the area for ESXi, I have reported it to the moderators.

You could try using the e1000 community driver. VID:PID 8086:15bb is in the list.
