no VM can start, and no way to get log files

I set up a ESXi server and P2V some machines to the datastore by using converter 4.0 sucessfully,

but I can not start any of these VMs in the VI console, all start action would result in the same error:"Canot power on on in ha-datacenter,a general error ocurr" ,

Obviously, this error promption can not tell detail, while i exporting the system log from the VI cient console for more details, another system internal error happened.

and the attemption failed.is there aternative way to get system log?

Would some guys give some advice?

thanks in advance

Please provide more details on your setup. The server/ram/cpu etc.

Log files can be viewed from the yellow console screen. You can also view real time logs by pressing ALT + F12 at the console screen.

Thanks!

I reinstall the hypervisor and now everything seems ok.

Comparing the first and second time installation and configuration,I think maybe i made a mistake on setting "Virtual Machine swapfile location",

At the first time I selected the swapfile location option ———"Store the swapfile in the swapfile location" ,the second time the option i chose was

recommended:Store the swapfile in the same directory as the virtual machine.

Does the setting cause my problem?
