some strange things are going on! here is my hardware for tests:
Supermicro PDSMi, Core Quad CPU, 4G RAM, Intel 82573L/ NIC
I installed ESXi 5.5. I realized what DHCP not working. Static network configuration not working too.
I tried to ping from the Test management network tool, but network sniffer doesn't see any packets from ESXi.
Then I installed 5.1. The same result.
finally, I installed 5.0 and it worked without any problems!!! upgrading it to 5.1 broke the network again
which way to dig? 😕
