looking at the attached graph you can see that the network traffic drops every 14-15 minutes and then resumes like nothing is wrong.  any ideas ?

Is there any issue with that drop in the network transfer rate.?

From the screenshot, vmnic0 and vmnic1 is showing Data Receive Rate and vmnic1 and vmnic3 are showing Data Transfer Rate at the ESXi Host level. The Traffic was never above 2.6 Mbps.

Can you help to give more details on the issue.?

it just doesn't look good to me with the traffic dropping like that and then resuming.   just very odd. 

for the end user in the middle of a file transfer, it slows down during that time and then resumes normally.
