multiple vms not starting or stuck

Linux vm took 4 tries to finally get started.

It had given 2 errors but after 30 minutes, it came up.

But now I'm in a boot window I don't recognize.

What is this?

root (hd0,4)

FilesystemType is extfs2, partition type 0 x 83

kernel /vmlinuz -3.1.0- 1.2 desktop root=/dev/disk/by-uuid...

There is also a line with initrd /initrd -3.1.0 -1.2 desktop

And it pauses there a long time like 15 minutes and then GRUB starts....

This is stuck in a loop.

And now I just noticed my Windows vm will also not start it's sitting at 95% too

with the same error the Linux vm had before which is "Operation can't be performed in that state [Powered Off.]

Under events it lists it as general error.

Does anyone know what's going on here?

My linux vm did crash but I did not think that would affect other vms.

Ok I just realized this is OpenSuse trying to boot but it just gets stuck on initrd.

That's fine but I don't know why now the Windows vm still has the error I noted.
