monitor IOPS machine to datastore

I'm using ESXi 5.5.0 and I'm asking you if there is way to monitor what virtual machine is making meaning IOPS value on datastore because my 3par storage started to get performance problem.

How can i monitor what machine makes more IOPS in my datastore?

Please try this from web client.

Browse Datastore --> Monitor Tab-->Performance-->Choose performance in the View drop down menu-->Select a time range.

I'm not able to make it because it's shown:

data is not collected fot the current statistics level.

Increase the statistics level to view the Graphs.


How can I enable it? I made it performance will decrease ?! What do you think? If I

I recommend to take a look at the esxtop for better insight. which can give the data upto 2 secs interval. Looks for the DAVG, KAVG and the R/W rate to assess the performance/Impact.
