It depends on what else you're looking to do... You won't be able to use FT to the 5400 series processor from the 5500 or 7500, but that's the same as with the 5460 and 5550 you have now. Using EVC should allow you to do just about everything else, since you've already set the EVC Cluster Baseline.
I would go with the X7500 series, instead of the X6500 series (the 7500's are priced lower and have more processor choices)...
