yeah i seen that doc.

i created the quorum drive on scsi 1:0 on vm a. then and it to vm b. but when i add the data disk what scsi do i put it on?

or does all the data need to go on that 1st disk? i would think i would need a quorum drive and a dat drive correct?

Have a look at:

You have to use one shared disk (small, like 512 MB) for quorum and others for data.

Data disk and Quorum disk, you can put it on same SCSI controller with bus sharing enabled.

Yes, for clustering you should carry, one quorum disk and a data disk.

"when i add the disk to host b does hotst b need to be off?", not host b, but host 'a' needs to be off!
