many partitions on a VMFS Datastore !!!

Hi All,

Can you please let me know why do I have many partitions on a VMFS partitions;

This was  a new LUN given and we formatted it on VMFS 5.

Any suggestions why so many partitions?

Is your ESXi is running on USB device ?

From the screenshot it looks like it is a boot LUN.

Please refer to below KB for partition details.
